Weird Chicago

Well, I was out in Chicago on business back in June, and took the opportunity to visit some of the strange places there. The first thing I noticed about Chicago and its surroundings was the fact that Chicago appears to be made up of three things: Blues Joints, Irish Bars, and Cemeteries. There appear to be literally hundreds of each. In fact one of the Jewish cemeteries is actually made up of 300 smaller cemeteries all of which are right next to each other.

Not being in town long and with my Italian background, I initially set out to look at much of the city's mobster history. Most famous of all the mobsters would have to be Al Capone and is now interred in Mount Carmel Cemetery. After that it was off to Chicago to see the Biograph Theatre, then literally around the corner to the site of the Valentine's Day Massacre!
